Introducing Compact View

With Gravity Forms 2.8, it has never been easier to edit lengthy forms that contain numerous form fields, thanks to the new Compact View feature.

Gone are the days of scrolling to find specific fields. With Compact View you’ll be able to view forms via a bird’s eye view, making it easier than ever to edit forms and fields.

Within the form editor, you can enable compact view by selecting the settings cog, located next to the ‘Save Form’ button, and toggling on ‘Compact View’.

You can also use the ‘Show Field IDs’ toggle to display the ID of each field while in Compact View.

Once you’ve enabled Compact View, you’ll find all your fields compressed down to single lines, giving you a full overview of the fields used and the form’s layout.

Furthermore, you can edit your forms in the usual way, allowing you to quickly make any necessary customizations to your form.

Easily add or delete fields, configure field settings, use the drag-and-drop functionality to change field order, and add and alter form columns.

There’s no limit to what you can do with Gravity Forms.
