Not just an internship – a career launch.

The Rocketgenius Summer 2026 Engineering Internship is now open to applications – get hands-on experience working with the team behind Gravity Forms. You’ll spend three months learning how modern software is built and maintained – collaborating with experienced engineers, designers, and marketers who’ve helped shape one of the most trusted brands in WordPress.

This fully remote, paid program is open to U.S. residents only and runs from June through August 2026. You’ll earn $4,000 per month while contributing to real projects, gaining skills that will accelerate your career, and discovering what it’s like to thrive in a people-first, remote-first company.

During your internship, you’ll:

  • Learn from industry experts – Gain hands-on experience alongside seasoned engineers and product teams.
  • Collaborate across departments – Work with support, QA, marketing, and design to see how a product evolves from idea to release.

The path ahead

For the right candidates, the Rocketgenius Internship is only the beginning. Outstanding interns may be invited to continue on as Journeyman Engineers – a longer-term, project-focused role that bridges the gap between internship and full-time employment.

Many of our past interns have advanced through the Journeyman Program and into full-time careers at Rocketgenius, shaping the very products they once trained on.

Before your internship begins, you’ll complete a series of short, self-paced courses to help you hit the ground running. These courses build your foundation in key web and WordPress development skills so you can make the most of your time at Rocketgenius.

How it works

Ready to join the Rocketgenius Internship? Here’s what the process looks like from start to finish.

  1. Apply early – Applications are open now through February 1, 2026, but we may close applications earlier once we’ve selected enough candidates – so don’t wait! You can apply once you complete the coursework. (Open to U.S. residents only).
  2. Get mentorship – Applicants are paired with a mentor to answer questions and guide you through additional coursework.
  3. Join Q&A sessions – Early applicants can attend live sessions to get help, connect with mentors, and prepare for day one.
  4. Final selection – Admission is based on your progress, submitted work, and final interviews.
  5. Internship period – The 2026 program runs June – August, fully remote and fully paid.
