Brand New Release-SendGrid Add-on 1.6

We’re pleased to announce an update to the Gravity Forms SendGrid Add-On. Version 1.6 contains a couple of additions…

  • Added support for CC addresses in notifications.
  • Fixed an issue where warnings appear on the form settings page.

Reliably Send Form Notification Emails With SendGrid

As part of Gravity Forms’ built-in functionality, you can easily send email notifications after a form submission. By default, your web server will take care of sending and delivering those emails. However, not all web servers are capable of reliably sending and delivering emails.

This can happen for a whole host of reasons. Sometimes, the web server is configured incorrectly for sending emails, and sometimes, services like Gmail can mark emails sent in this way as spam. Due to this, you and your users might never receive the important emails generated by Gravity Forms.

One way to overcome this issue is to use a dedicated transactional email service like SendGrid. Doing so lets you use the world’s largest email infrastructure to deliver the emails generated by your site.

As SendGrid has a free plan as well as affordable paid options for those who need to send more than 100 emails a day, it’s a cost-effective way to make your site’s email delivery functionality more robust.

Using a transactional email service like SendGrid also enables you to keep track of deliverability rates through its analytics reporting.

Thanks to the Gravity Forms SendGrid Add-On, setting up the integration is relatively straightforward, too.

For more information, we’ve published a detailed guide on integrating SendGrid with Gravity Forms and the benefits of using this service to handle form entry email notifications.

Additional information can be found in the SendGrid Add-On documentation.
