Add Tax, Discount, and Subtotal fields to Gravity Forms
eCommerce Fields calculates live as someone fills out the form, with the built-in Gravity Forms Coupon and Shipping fields working correctly alongside it.
- Tax. Charge a percentage against the whole order, specific products, or every product except the ones you exclude.
- Discount. Subtract a flat amount or a percentage — off the order total, specific products, or everything except a few you choose.
- Subtotal. Total one group of products separately from the rest of the order.
- Coupon and Shipping. Coupons skip shipping automatically and lower what tax applies to. Shipping stays out of subtotals and discounts, but still counts toward tax and the total.
- Calculation merge tags. Reference the subtotal, discount, or coupon total in calculations elsewhere on the form — or pair with Advanced Calculations for more advanced formulas.
Charge the Right Tax, Automatically
A Tax field applies a percentage tax to the order. Apply it to the whole order, to one product, or exclude specific products from it.
Add more than one, and each can carry its own rate. Say, a state tax and a local tax, calculated separately.
Apply Discounts on Your Terms
A Discount field takes a flat amount or a percentage off the order. Apply it to the whole order, or to specific products only.
Set a rule on it, and it only applies when the order qualifies. Say, 10% off once someone adds three or more of the same product.
A Ready-Made Order Summary for Any Confirmation or Notification
Use {order_summary} in a confirmation or notification to print the whole order — products, discounts, tax, shipping, and the grand total.
