Brand new release: Partial Entries 1.8.3

Brand new release Partial Entries 1.8.3

We’re pleased to announce the release of Partial Entries 1.8.3 with the following updates…

  • Fixed an issue that prevents repeater fields from being saved in a partial entry.
  • Fixed an issue where multiple partial entries can be created if the form has multiple pages and the new Ajax submission method is in use.

Solve form abandonment with Partial Entries

Not every visitor who starts your form makes it to the submit button. Partial Entries saves form data as it’s being entered, so you still have a visitor’s details even if they leave before finishing.

Turn it on for any form, set rules for which partial submissions are worth keeping, and use what you capture to follow up with interested leads or spot where people are dropping off.

Key features of Partial Entries

  • Automatic data capture – Save form data in the background as visitors fill out your form, with no extra steps for them.
  • Capture rules – Use conditional logic to keep only the partial entries that matter, such as those that include a name and email address.
  • Abandoned form tracking – Review partial submissions alongside your other entries to see where visitors are leaving and why.
  • Follow-up ready – Use the details you capture to reach back out to potential customers who didn’t complete your form.

Where Partial Entries helps most

  • Online stores – Recover abandoned checkouts and order forms.
  • Lead generation – Keep contact details from prospects who started an inquiry but didn’t send it.
  • Multi-step registrations – Find the page where long forms lose people, then simplify it.

For more information about setting up Partial Entries, be sure to check out the Gravity Forms documentation.

Note: Partial Entries is available with the Gravity Forms Elite and Nonprofit licenses. Visit our pricing page for more information on the features and other add-ons available on each plan.
