Note: The mPDF library bundled with the extension is now vendor-prefixed. If you have custom code that references mPDF classes directly, review it and test on a staging site before updating.

PDF Generator Extension
The Gravity Flow PDF Generator Extension lets you add a PDF creation step at any point in your workflow. Templates work much like notifications: you lay out the document once, use merge tags to pull in entry data, and Gravity Flow builds the PDF automatically when the step runs.
That makes it easy to produce approval records, request summaries, and other documents your process depends on – without anyone having to create them by hand.
Key features include:
- PDF steps anywhere in your workflow – generate a document at the exact point in the process where you need it.
- Merge tag templates – build PDF templates with the same merge tags you use in notifications, no code required.
- Conditional logic – create a PDF only when an entry meets the conditions you set.
- PDFs in your notifications – attach generated PDFs to workflow notifications so documents reach the right people.
