We are pleased to announce that we’ve updated Conversational Forms. With Conversational Forms 1.8 you’ll find a number of updates…
- Added support for the new button markup introduced in Gravity Forms 3.0.
- Fixed a fatal error that can occur with Gravity Forms 2.9+.
- Fixed an issue where draft submissions resume at the beginning of the form instead of the last saved page.
Note: Conversational Forms 1.8 requires Gravity Forms 3.0 or later. If you are an Elite or Nonprofit Gravity Forms license holder, Conversational Forms can be updated to version in your WordPress dashboard, or downloaded manually from your Gravity account.
Built for Gravity Forms 3.0
Conversational Forms 1.8 supports the new button markup introduced in Gravity Forms 3.0. GF 3.0 moved form buttons from <input> elements to <button> elements for better accessibility and styling flexibility, and Conversational Forms now renders your Next, Continue, and submit buttons correctly in that new markup within a conversational layout.
Turn any form into a conversation
Conversational Forms guide visitors through your form one question at a time, instead of showing every field at once. It works with forms you’ve already built, so there’s no need to start over to get a more engaging, less overwhelming submission experience.
Conversational Forms is a good fit for lead generation, event registration, and feedback forms, where keeping people focused on one question at a time helps reduce drop-off.
Key features of Conversational Forms
- Works with any existing form – turn a form you’ve already built into a conversational experience in a few clicks.
- Custom design options – choose from preset layouts, set colors, and add a logo or background image to match your site.
- Progress tracking – show users how far they are through the form with a built-in progress bar.
- Welcome screen – set the tone before visitors start with an optional welcome screen.
