If you take deposits, the annoying part was never taking the deposit. It’s chasing people for the balance afterward — the emails, the reminders, the awkward “just following up.” Deposits for Gravity Forms takes that whole job off your plate.
It works with any Gravity Forms payment form that uses the Stripe add-on. You set the deposit however you want: a percentage, a flat amount, or a few levels the customer picks from, and they can still choose to pay in full. Stripe charges just the deposit at checkout, while the full price stays saved with the entry.
From there the plugin runs the collection for you. The customer gets a secure link to pay their balance whenever they’re ready, with no logging in and no filling out the form again, and reminder emails go out on their own as the due date gets close. Every open balance sits on one dashboard where you can copy a link, send a reminder, or mark something paid. The emails are all editable, your deposit terms show at checkout and in the confirmation email, and it runs on your existing Stripe feed and form entries, so nothing about your current setup has to change.
It fits any business that books or takes orders now and delivers later: photographers, venues, event vendors, contractors, custom and made-to-order shops, rentals, and services of all kinds.
