We’re pleased to announce the release of the Gravity Forms Akismet Add-On version 1.1 with the following updates…

• Updated to communicate directly with the Akismet API. No longer requires the Akismet plugin to be active and configured.
• Fixed three PHP 8.2 creation of dynamic property deprecation notices that occur on form submission.

With the Gravity Forms Akismet Add-On, you can send more structured, detailed data to Akismet. This improves both spam detection and the accuracy of legitimate entry identification.

And now, with the update in version 1.1, the Akimset Add-On integrates directly with the Akismet API, no Akismet Spam Protection plugin needed.
