Clearing Default Field Values with jQuery

A few people have asked about automatically clearing the default field values on focus. While that’s not a feature in the current version of Gravity Forms, It’s easy enough to accomplish with a little bit of jQuery goodness. This script will remove any default value from input fields and textareas on focus, and if you haven’t changed it, will restore it on blur.

Gravity Forms v1.2.2 Released

Gravity Forms v1.2.2 has been released via automatic upgrade. This releases fixes a bug with the notification email that prevented the advanced name and address form fields from being displayed correctly. It also consolidates the display of checkbox fields so that they appear under one heading instead of multiple. The {all_fields} formatting in notification emails is now in line with how entries are displayed on the entry detail page. You can upgrade to the latest version of Gravity Forms using Automatic Upgrade or by downloading the latest version of the plugin from the Downloads page. Please Note: Automatic Upgrade will only work if you have entered your Support License Key in the Settings page of Gravity Forms in your WordPress Administration Panel.

It is recommended that you update your Gravity Forms install to the latest version to avoid any issues with character encoding in form submitted data. Sneak Peek At Gravity Forms Version 1.2

Gravity Forms Version 1.1.3 Released

We have released an update to Gravity Forms that fixes several issues. No new features were introduced with this release, but we highly recommend you upgrade your plugin to the latest version. You can upgrade via Automatic Upgrade or by downloading the plugin on the Downloads page and installing it manually. Gravity Forms v1.0.1 Update Released

We have released Gravity Forms v1.0.1. If you have a license key activated, It should be available via automatic upgrade on your Plugins page in the WordPress dashboard. If you do not see that an upgrade is available, try refreshing the Plugins page in WordPress. WordPress caches this data and only checks for plugin updates periodically. Refreshing the page should force it to check for available upgrades. This releases patches a bug that may allow a user to unintentionally uninstall the plugin by submitting the Settings form using the enter key rather than clicking on the Submit button. It could only be reproduced in certain browsers. We will be releasing Gravity Forms v1.1 next week, this release will add new features and functionality to the plugin.
