WordCamp Europe 2021 – Enhancing the Accessibility of a Plugin (A Use Case)

This free online event sees a wide assortment of talks and sessions, including one by Gravity Forms’ very own software engineer Morgan Kay, in conjunction with Rian Rietveld from Level Level – Enhancing the Accessibility of a Plugin (A Use Case).

WordCamp EU is an informal, community-organized gathering of WordPress enthusiasts, where people can share ideas and discuss all things WordPress. Here at Gravity Forms, we are delighted to be involved with WCEU and for Morgan to share her thoughts and experience on a topic very close to all our hearts – Accessibility.

Enhancing the Accessibility of a Plugin (A Use Case) is a WordCamp EU session scheduled on Monday, June 7th, 2021 at 16.53 (CEST).

Led by Morgan Kay and Rian Rietveld, this talk will retell the accessibility journey that Gravity Forms and Level Level embarked on together, giving you an indepth look at the steps we took to improve the accessibility of the forms that can be built with our plugin.

• Finding suitable solutions for issues without breaking existing forms
• Test tools and documentation

Throughout this talk, Morgan and Rian will share their experiences, and lessons learned when it comes to creating an accessible tool – a fascinating talk for anyone interested in enhancing the accessibility of a web project.
