Assignee User Search now powered by AJAX

 

The first thing you’ll notice when you update to Flow 3.0 is the speed of the Assignee User Search  – which is now powered by AJAX.

If your site has hundreds (or even thousands) of users, you’ll love how much faster it is to search users and assign tasks with Gravity Flow 3.0.

Instead of waiting for lengthy user lists to load, you’ll see a simplified interface showing just roles and email fields which lets you:

• Start typing three characters, and matching users appear instantly.
• Search by name, WordPress role, or email field.
• View results update in real time as you type.

For sites with more than 150 users, AJAX search is enabled by default. But for developers or administrators who need more flexibility, new filters make it possible to change the 150-user threshold or turn AJAX search off entirely.

A cleaner way to build conditions

 

Complex workflows often require multiple conditional rules. Gravity Flow 3.0 introduces a brand-new repeater interface for conditional routing, inspired by the streamlined design used in Gravity SMTP.

Instead of squeezing routing rules into narrow columns, each rule now expands into a full-width row for easier editing and review.

Importantly, you’ll find AJAX powering the user search within the conditional routing settings, making the new interface as fast as it is user-friendly.

This new design appears in Approval, User Input, and Notification steps, so you’ll enjoy the same streamlined experience across your entire workflow:

• Every condition is displayed clearly, with more space for field selections and logic
• The “Assign To” dropdown uses the same instant AJAX search for sites with 150+ users
• Complex workflows are faster to set up and simpler to manage

Gravity Flow 3.0 is now available to all customers with an active license!

If you don’t have automatic updates enabled, simply open your WordPress dashboard, head over to your plugins page, and click to Update to Gravity Flow 3.0.

Gravity Flow 3.0 can also be downloaded from your Gravity Flow account.
