Brand new release: Geolocation 1.5.1
We’re pleased to announce the release of Geolocation version 1.5.1. In this update, you’ll find a number of fixes, including…
- Updated the add-on to use the new versioning system.
- Fixed an issue where the address field styles disappear in Orbital theme when the Geolocation suggestions setting is enabled.
Capture location data with form entry submissions
If you’d like to receive location data with form entries automatically, the Gravity Forms Geolocation Add-On makes it possible. You can also improve the user experience by enabling address autocomplete on your forms.
View Geolocation data
Once enabled, Geolocation will store location data for each form entry on your site. This gives you a quick way to view address information and the user’s longitude and latitude when they complete the form.
With Gelocation, you can also display a Google map for each form entry in the WordPress dashboard. This can be used to show the user’s location and give you a clear picture of where your users are based.
Address autocomplete
Users can also choose to use the address autocomplete feature if you decide to enable it. This should make completing forms on your site more convenient, helping to reduce form abandonment rates.
For more information on Geolocation, check out the Gravity Forms documentation.
