Brand new release Kit 2.0

We are pleased to announce the release of Kit 2.0. This release contains a number of important updates…

  • [BREAKING CHANGE] Updated to use the v4 API for new connections. Current connections to the v3 API are deprecated, but will remain functional until sunset by Kit. Users are strongly recommended to reconnect to avoid future disruption.
  • Added support for OAuth for paid Kit accounts.
  • Added the gform_kit_enable_legacy_connection filter to force the add-on to allow new legacy v3 connections.
  • Added the gform_kit_subscriber_state filter so the initial subscriber state can be modified.
  • Updated the connection screen to allow for a choice between connecting with OAuth or with an API Key.

Note: This update includes a breaking change. Kit’s v3 API has been deprecated, and although remains functional at the moment, it will be sunsetted at some point in the future. We recommend reconnecting your account to avoid future interruptions.

Grow your audience with Kit and Gravity Forms

The Gravity Forms Kit Add-On seamlessly connects your forms to Kit, turning every submission into a new contact. Capture leads, grow your audience, and sync contact data automatically with contact forms, lead magnet opt-ins, and event registrations.

Kit is a powerful email marketing platform built for creators and businesses, featuring an intuitive interface and a generous free plan, so you can start building relationships right away.

Key features of the Kit Add-On

  • Custom field mapping – Send more than just names and email addresses. Map any form field to custom fields in Kit to collect detailed subscriber data.
  • Tag subscribers automatically – Use tags to track how subscribers joined your list, which form they used, or what preferences they selected – perfect for organizing and targeting your audience more effectively.
  • Powerful conditional logic – Control exactly who gets added to your Kit list. Only add users who meet specific conditions – like checking a consent box – and apply dynamic tags based on their responses.
  • Creator Network Recommendations – Promote other creators (and be promoted) using ConvertKit’s Creator Network. If you’re on a premium Kit plan, you can display network recommendations after form submission.
